Concert Halls I Like – Part 2

September 14, 2010

    Hi,
The Philharmonie Luxembourg is indeed in Luxembourg 🙂 The concert hall is not only dedicated to classical music, but also hosts many Jazz, World, Live-Cinema and Childrens concerts.
Have you already been inside the hall?
    Best regards,
    Didier Goossens

Hi Didier. Sad to say I haven’t been to Luxembourg since the hall was built. But what a fascinating design! It looks so delicate, but the way the architect used the natural light & columns to create the feeling that you’re being gently transported from the noise of the outside world into the musical sanctuary of the grand auditorium is brilliant.
Next time I’m in the neighborhood I’ll make sure to catch a concert there 🙂
